Collectors piece because of the spelling - 1 only from The Mike Young collection
L pronounced as an R and written, such as it was pronounced, by an English speaking Japanese person in the parts department at Nissan 60 years ago.

Web site banner on every page says open Feb 1st so no ordering until then. We are obligated to to do an inventory count at the end of the year and it takes all of December and January to complete it for corporate filing. Thanks for understanding.

Hey Dster,

I wasn’t looking but I found a reflector that looks good, you can have it for the cost shipping.

38 years ago I met a guy who used to work on Roadsters and I bought the following items for my car as I was building it: Nearly new set of 44mm Mikuni carbs (34mm choke version from Comp, with velocity stacks and filter set up), complete Solex intake manifold, B cam, full comp suspension (sway bar, front and rear springs).

$150 bucks, if I took the frame the comp suspension was attached to... towed it home with my '73 620 PU.

There... You can all hate me... yep, prices have changed...

I wish that my income matched the inflation rate of roadster parts. In 81 or 82 I bought a new Datsun King Cab pickup, diesel no less. As part of the deal they agreed to sell me the complete Solex setup, minus air filter but with velocity stacks, and a 4:62 ring and pinion for 10% over cost. Total price was right around $500. I then traded my open differential and $35 for a limited slip. A while latter traded my stock oil pan and less than $50 for the comp aluminum pan. To finish it off I got a B cam from a local racer for next to nothing. I do however regret not buying the close ratio 5 speed for $250!
Obviously, I wouldn’t sell those parts for anywhere near those prices today, just like the dealers won’t sell a reflector today for $3.71

Around 1976 I got tired of my non synchro first gear in my 64, yes I didn't know any better and it wasn't a classic yet. Delridge Datsun in West Seattle is where my dad the body man bought his Datsun body parts. So I would go in and get stuff 20 off. One day they tell me they're having a sale on transmissions. Brand new 1600 for just $150. Got a clutch and flywheel and away I went.

Try to buy a synchro ring now for $150 or brake cylinder.

When I was a kid I had to drive my Datsun 20 miles each way uphill.

Made it to the post office today. I didn't have the rubber gasket for it. Perhaps someone has an extra they can throw in an envelope for you.
