Tennesse Nissan Heritage Museum

Post by Curtis »

I just learned this last week that there is a Nissan Heritage Museum at their Franklin, Tennessee headquarters. It is private so you have to know someone likely to get in.

The reason I learned this is because a guy that works on restorations there called me wanting a new harness set. It turns out that he found 1964 Fairlady 1500 car number two in I think it was Arizona. He told me car number one is in the Japan museum. They are restoring it to be a driver and not a 100 point car. There is a never sold 1970 2000 at the museum.

Has anyone here had the luck of going? Jay Leno did a piece on the museum you can find online.
66 stroker, almost done.
67 basket case, paint coming soon.

Yes. Nissan invited us in 2021:

Lots of cool Nissans/Datsuns and eclectic stuff there to appreciate:

This old Fairlady wasn't too shabby either :)

ps...The "Heritage Museum" is actually at the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville. The "secret basement" at their HQ in Franklin is different!
