Is this the new Roadster?
From Car & Driver's website about the detroit Auto Show:
"The Urge Concept shows us that Nissan is considering slotting a lightweight sports car below the 350Z in its lineup. The targa-top Urge features a 2+1 seating configurationâ€â€-two seats up front and a single seat in the rear. [Sound familiar?] The concept uses a four-cylinder engine borrowed from Nissan’s Frontier pickup, although if the Urge were ever to make it into production, a high-performance four-cylinder engine is promised. For gaming fanatics, the Urge can be used to play video games when stationary. In place of the traditional hand-held controller are the steering wheel and pedals."
Personally, I think they could do better. The basic idea is wonderful, but the execution is...well...too far off-center for me.
For those wanting to see the pictures, go to caranddriver.com, click on the article about the auto show, then go to page 21 to see the photo and Csaba Csere in a video. Have a barf bag ready.

If they took most of the garish details out, it would be acceptable. As it is, it looks like a toy or a nike shoe. But front engine - rear drive, 2400lbs, 200hp, it's a start in the right direction.
