Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has information on the part numbers for the condenser and coil for a 1968 1600 model? Thanks!

I'd say it depends on the brands , Denso, Tokiko etc.
May have came in a Datsun Box, but made for them
Datsun. US sold off all roadster parts starting in about 82

Are you looking for the original part numbers? If so, see pic below. This is from the 1968 parts manual.
If you want aftermarket, there are other good options like those mentioned above. Several of our Vendors sell them.
PS. Welcome to the group.

FYI - If you are looking for the distributor condenser (part #25 below) and not the coil resistor pictured above, then the original part number for that was 22102-00800. It was later superseded by part number 22102-D1100 for all ‘65 - ‘70 model years.

Sadly it could be much better. Posters need to be taught to use more/better descriptions of the question subject matter. If the subject had been "Any information on 1968 1600 coil and condenser part numbers?", future visitors would be able to easily find the same information. I mean no offense to the OP, they clearly followed established community protocol. I just wish the moderators would encourage and promote a better quality of communication in this forum.

The subject line does not limit search results for future visitors.
Here is an example...
In the upper left corner of your screen is the "Search" window for 311s.org. If I were a future visitor seeking information on a 1968 1600 coil and condenser part number I would simply type that into the search engine. Here are the results:
Any future visitor would easily be able to find the same information. The OP asked a question. It was answered. The information is now totally searchable and retrievable.

That is the beauty of this forum. It is wonderfully simple. Only basic communication skills are needed to glean a ton of information. Irrespective of language. I personally do not feel it is sad, or something that can be much better, especially from a "quality of communication" metric, imho.

Either way, this forum is infinitely better than Facebook, which is the only other interactive alternative that I have found. I hate having to resort to Facebook to find anything.

In my (admittedly very limited) experience with FB, it's like asking a question of someone who is in an open elevator that runs past your floor before continuing on down...

Try finding something interesting again that you saw a couple hours ago. It's a frickin black hole for communication.

ROFL, That’s the best description of Facebook I’ve ever heard! I’m a glutton for searching out information for my hobbies and reluctantly joined Facebook for that reason. If you find something there that you want to keep you better take a screen shot because the chances of future retrieval are slim to none. Also while there are some very knowledgeable members there, some who are also on here, you better vet any advice you receive there since there is quite a lot of erroneous information put out. I certainly don’t understand why there is so much more traffic there than here, and I as well as others are constantly directing members to 311s.org for the CORRECT information they seek!

I appreciate hearing this feedback and I can assure anyone whom cares that 311s.org is not going away anytime soon. I have enough support from folks to keep the forum/website plugging away for some time. We have folks signing up weekly including the random spammer from all parts of the world. People come and go all the time for various reasons. If FB is your cup of tea, good for you. We will be over here plugging away in our little slice of the internet. As always I try to keep the software updated to the latest releases that the phpBB folks release.
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and an even better New Year.
Steve

Steve, many care. Thanks again for all your help keeping this ship sailing during 2023, including your even keel and looking over the horizon. As BWK2000 stated: best Christmas present ever for this family; knowing you're still willing and able.
All 311's, thanks for you continued effort to post assistance for those of us with less experience. IMO, a bit of patience, careful reading & searching, and 99.99% of the information to keep your addiction alive can be found on this site, much appreciated.
Have a great holiday.

Three cheers to Steve!! Gratitude for your diligence and commitment to 311s.org .
I've been involved with SPL/SRLs since 1981, and on #7 of them now, and there is always something new to learn about them on this forum. And I wish to further endorse BKW2000's sentiment: "best Christmas present we could collectively ask for"
Happy Holidays to all.
