Thanks Dean, received my package this morning. Although FedEx dropped the ball. They came nearly 15 min. before the 10:00AM-2:00PM window start time and didn't stick around for a signature. The delivery lady was climbing back in her rig when I opened the door. No issue for me, but could be for others if this was more than a one off event.

Boots are in testing. Got this photo from the manufacturer. Early stages of polishing. Cost a bundle to make.

Specs slightly different between the molds? Seems volume would only necessitate one mold once going into production.

Looking at the pins to holes layout, I think they might probably be 2 halves of the same mold....I could be wrong

I'll see if my uncle would need a shifter boot for his incoming '67 project. We'll tow it this week once the truck is ready. The tool box and tonneau covers showed up so we might take her in tomorrow.

Final polished out article is here for approval. Will be about 2 months before we receive if everything continues to go as planned . Read up on what we did to make a better part. Cost will be around $50.00 to $60.00 each.

NICE Dean! Between tooling cost and manufacturing cost per piece on startup you probably need to sell well over 200 to start breaking even. VERY much appreciated! Glad I could contribute in a very small way to the project.

Normal stuff. We've been facing the music for years and it always works out. I pre sold100 pieces going to Japan out of the first run.

I'm excited as well, as that is the boot I use. And my current one has already begun to fail as described and was not that old. I think I even added some Flex Seal to the underside, but the weak point is the seams as Dean said. Thanks Dean, I added myself to the "email me" list!
