Roadster Soft Top Weatherstrip Location

Hi All,

I just installed a new convertible top on my 68 Roadster this weekend. Now Im looking for a photo showing the correct location to glue the soft top weatherstrip.

It glues to the metal strip that holds the cloth top to the frame. (Underside of the top bow)

Hi All,

The soft top weather-strip is directional, gluing in only one way on the soft top bow and the profile is slightly angled as such for proper sealing to the top of the windshield. It has a slit, see diagram, in the bottom of the weather-strip. The metal strip on the bow has a vertical lip that inserts into the slit. Use 3M black super weather-strip adhesive. Dean
