Lower Tensioner Spacer

Could not find a new or replacement lower tensioner spacer. Decided to make one, see photo.

Several questions: Wondering if the hole size in the actual tensioner is critical? The OEM (borrowed/used) template is 1.17mm. However, both of my new ones (from 2-different popular vendors we know) are only .95mm?

As you are likely aware, the oil path through the spacer is quite a bit larger than the tensioner itself. So, the underlying engineering (volume & velocity) must have been considered. Yet, as you may also know the hole is not drilled straight-through, does it matter? The hole is the same both sides 2.43mm going in and going out.

I'd guess that manufacturing required something here, since the access holes are brass plugged from the factory.

I've drilled the spacer hole straight through at the OEM 2.43mm, it aligns with the tensioner hole and reduces there to the .95mm new vendor dimension.

Am I good-to-go? Do I drill the new ones to OEM 1.17mm?
