Fender Brace Foam

I spent the day reconstructing the rusted out brace under one of my front fenders. It was mounted with a thin piece of foam rubber between the brace and the body (obviously the source for the rust). My guess is that it was probably about 3/16" thick and about 1-1/2" wide. I did not find anything about this on the tech wiki. Has anyone found an alternative material they are using? Thanks.

Are you talking about the pads between the frame & body? If so, Dean has them.

Thanks, but no Pat, I have already reset the body. This goes between the front fender and the body near the door hinge area. I can find closed cell foam tape, but I have no idea the original dimension since it was rotted to the point of crumbling. Maybe this picture will communicate what I am look for. This is before reconstruction of the brace.

My guess is sometimes it had a rattle over bumps there ,so spray foam, jeeps were famous for trouble some body creaks rattles
that the factory then did a mod of this type to fix
