Early wiper pivot assembly

Thought I took a disassembly pic, but.... Also cannot find any breakdown in microfiche, onlinepartsmanual, Scheeler's book, or Rallye. *heavy sigh*

When installing the wiper motor and linkage assembly, it appears that one wiper pivot gasket goes on the pivot flange on the inside of the car body. On the outside, another pivot gasket, then the flange, and, finally, the pivot nut.

Is that correct?

Dean mentions on his listing for the rubber gaskets:

"NOTE: One weather-strip goes under each washer and one on each flange of the wiper pivot assembly."

So it begs the question should there be a washer on top of the outer gasket then the flange and nut? Or did Dean just misnamed the chrome flange as a washer?

Pete,

You're correct. I have a 67.5 and assembled in that manner, there are barely any threads from the pivot assembly showing.
I hope that helps.
