horn issue

Post by johnscf »

Putting back together a 68 but can’t get the horn to stop blowing. As soon as hook up power the horn is sounding even before I put the large horn button on the steering column. I think it’s grounding out somewhere but can’t figure out where. Thoughts?

You can disconnect the harness connector for the steering column to see if the issue is there near the button. Otherwise, it could be pinched somewhere else between there and the relay. Or the relay could be stuck on.
