Nut on end of gas pedal rod

Post by johnscf »

Anyone recall the size of the nut that goes on the end of the throttle linkage to hold the gas pedal on?

I don't, but while you're in there, I noted when i was messing with mine that the pedal rod that attaches to the rod in your pic had ovaled some which would not give me the full range of motion necessary to open the throttle fully at the carbs. Check yours.

My 68 has a 3/8 - 24 nut. I am working on refurbishing my pedals and happen to have them on the work bench.
