Hi My name is Scott and I'm new on the site. I'm in Southern California near Huntington Beach.
I did a Datsun gettogether about 10 years ago at the Huntington Beach park near here.

I hope to come to some local events,
even if I am driving a non-Datsun.
It will be a while before I get a running Datsun again,
When I do I hope to have another Datsun get together at the park here.
The park worked out good because it is relatively quiet and has shade.

Posted an intro and post in the wanted classifieds too.
I am not in a rush for the parts so if you have spares or extras that show up you can pm me.
I prefer to text or talk with whoever I'm dealing with so we can have clear communication.

There is a fun run rally group in so ca so if you need a navigator someday I could be up to it!

Also I did post I am on a fixed income so interested in "club pricing".
Is that the nice way to say I am a serious buyer but not a rich guy?

Come up to Solvang this weekend, It's less than 3 hours from you. You will meet some HB folks displaying their cars this year.

I'm also from Huntington Beach, but currently in Texas. There are several other owners in/nearby HB.

Thanks for the replies. Scottsun sounds pretty good! I got the name Datsunscott at the beach because there were so many Scotts each got a nickname. I was driving an old beater L320 truck with surf racks. Yes I hope to go to Solvang someday

Several of the HB Datsun roadster guys go to Donut Derelicts car show (at Magnolia and Adams) on Saturdays. We always park right underneath the Ace Hardware sign. Note: not your usual car show, it ENDS at 7:45am so that the parking lot is open for retail customers. Mine is still in bits, so while I go most Saturdays you wouldn't know it by roadster-count! Come by and say Hi, we all got parts that may help out your effort.
