67 2000 found and purchased.

I just bought SRL#256, the previous owner had the car for over 40 years. The car has been sitting under cover in a garage for the last 26 year, due to a timing chain failure. The PO replaced all the timing components and the head, unfortunately they replaced it with a late model head, but never put her back on the road. The body is really straight, with no visible signs of rust on the car, but further inspection needed once I get her home. I'll post better pics this weekend.

Wow, that's Great! You must be super excited, though I note it's not your first... greedy! I see the valve cover has been welded up... it looks exactly like what was on my car when I got it (hx of chain/Evil L failure), but I don't know if it had the rivet in the C as I replaced it long before learning of its rarity. And some original Solex carbs too... fun!
