Front caliper rebuild part needed

Post by Habitat.pat »

I have one leaking caliper & need to purchase what the parts list refers to as a piston packing.

I see that kits to do all 4 is available from our vendors, but I only have one damaged packing, the rest have about 1 year & zero miles on them since being sleeved. Paying almost $100 for a kit to use one seal out of is a bit much. I see that XKE kits will work but when I checked Moss Motors, they list 3 kits. Any idea which one fits? They show series II, series III & series II/III.

Peace, Pat

If actually in stock. This will fix you up. Scroll down the page to see fitment. "Centric Caliper Repair Kit 143.20000"

But I'd go with Brian.

I’ll check with Sin City, they’re only 1.5 hours away.

Drove out to Sin City Datsuns today & picked up a rebuild kit. I’ll get it installed this evening. Thanks for reminding me that Brian had them!
