I have ARP flywheel bolts on my R16 but don’t know what torque they should be tightened to. Anyone know if I should use the OEM 35 ft. lbs. or should it be higher? I was working off a posted torque listing but after torquing them to 58 noticed that the listing was for a U20. Just checking before I make any changes.
Peace, Pat

Pat. I believe the R16 range is 35-44 ft.lbs for the OEM bolts.
From what I understand, ARP bolts require a higher torque (it should have been written right on the package they came in).
At any rate, the chart below should help:

Re: ARP flywheel bolt torque R16
Since it looks like the flywheel to crank shaft bolts are 3/8” from the table below. I would say 45 ft.lbs should do the trick.
