15" Panasports, What size Tires?

Post by Ldino21 »

I got some 15" Panasports today and want to know what size tires people are using on them. Are you using 195/50/15 or 205/50/15?

I am finding only Falken Azenis in the 205/50/15 size and Yokahama AVS in the 195/50/15. what size are prople using and liking.

Falkens

The Falkens should fit. They stick like glue. If the offset on the wheels is correct, go that route.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

Lou, everyone uses 195/50/15, at least Herb, Gerardo and a few others I know. The yokohama AVS is great tire too. The 205 might rub in the back

Did you need to replace the stock wheel studs to fit the Panaracers? If so where did you get them? Thanks.

yeap... i also run 195/50/15 on my 66 and when i take a left kinda hard... the tire rubs a little in the fender well... i know that 205 will be little too much for my car.

take care...

I did not have to replace the wheel studs, remember panasport makes rims with the correct offset for the roadster, you just have to make sure when you order them they order for the roadster not the 510 because the hub size is different.

The lugs are 7/16-20 tapered lugs which are pretty common at wheel shops.
