How do you increase the idle?
Thanks

It is slightly different depending on the type of carbs/engine you have.
I advise you add that detail to your user profile or at least your posts.
Then you will no doubt be swamped with help

Idle adjustment screws. One on each carb down by the throttle shafts. Also check your ignition timing as advancing the ignition timing will also speed up the idle.

As stated, spend some time looking at the manuals and other posts about carb linkage and how it works together. You're dealing with two carbs that must also flow the same amount of air in order to work right, and those adjustments can need some fiddling with the proper tool (an airflow measuring tool) from time to time. If they are not balanced, the engine will rock back and forth and simply not work very well, as half the engine is getting x amount of air while the other half is getting more (or less). It's usually more obvious at idle. Intake air leaks, often seen at worn throttle shafts, will also throw off balance and air to fuel ratios. We are happy to help, and there are NO "stupid" questions on this site, so please don't hesitate to ask!
