Brake distribution block

Cleaning up this brake pressure switch block from a ‘68 1600.
My understanding is that the little piston inside should move to make contact with the switch. I have tried but can’t seem to get the piston to move. Anyone ever get one of these apart? If frozen, should I just leave it? The ports for the brake lines are clear and will work with the dual master cylinder. The switch just won’t activate if there is a pressure loss.

Thanks-Dave

Has anyone checked with Karp’s to see if they can repair these? I have a 67.5 so don’t have this valve, only a block.

Peace,
Pat

Thanks for the link. I searched this site and didn’t find that. This rectangular block appears different than the block in the link posted above. There are no caps under the springs, unless they are stuck in the block. I can’t see a way to get them out. I tapped on the piston pretty hard and it won’t budge. Probably best to just leave it stuck and sealed at this point. I’m soaking it in penetrating oil for a few days.
