It’s in the registry. Looks like it was previously up for sale on eBay in 2014 & 2021. Anyone catch the asking price?

It had an epic send-up on BaT.

The 70 is owned by Bruce Lanni. He is on Facebook, but I am not sure about here. The discussion on BAT is interesting.

Are non-locking gas caps rare????

To hear Bruce tell it, yes. I haven't tried to find one, so who knows. Not all of the 70s had them, so there are likely not a lot of them out there.

I see what you mean. A very enlightening (and revealing) BaT discussion indeed.

The BAT comments are usually entertaining.

Bruce has blocked a few of us from his posts on the Roadster FB page because we ask questions when he does stuff wrong. He just argues that "it's the photos" and looks better in real life. From my experience online photos always look better than real life, so I have no idea how he thinks it would be opposite. It seems like a nice car, the main issue is his attitude about it being 100% perfect. The car is actually known as "Ol Lumpy" from a bunch of discussions.

Any idea who owns the second one (the 1500)?
Now that looks like a nicely restored roadster - Some serious coin went into that.

And yet the rear shackles for the leaf springs are wrong. Not hard to fix but shows it was done by a non roadster person!

Most of the build was on the Roadster FB page, beautiful car, very well done.

64 1500 is Chris Bennett's.
Restoration by Ron Weldon.
A nice job with a few minor problems that a Mecum buyer will not know or care about.
I have seen it. It presents well except for the unstock forward rake that does not look right. (Front comp springs). Chris had take the auction pictures before we got after him.🙄😳.
Note the incorrect opening wing windows.
From A 65 1500? Or 66-67.

Ted

The opening wing windows would be a nice improvement in my mind.
