I got an email yesterday that says "Our team of valuation experts recommend increasing the values" on three of my cars. I had a value of $18K on my roadster and they recommend I bump it to $21K. Anyone else get an email like this and is this a true valuation of the car or just a ploy to get more in premiums from me? Interested in your thoughts.
My mustang is also at $18K and they recommend $24K now.

I think it's probably a standard email to everyone with various increases based upon some general market adjustment percentages. I got the same email back in March and they suggested bumping my roadster up from $15k to $18k (20%) and my 350z up from $6k to $7800 (30%).

I received a similar email from Hagerty suggesting I bump the value of my 1970 1600 from $15600 to $19000. It was based on "A review by our team of valuation experts recommends a $4,700 value increase on your 1970 DATSUN 1600." And the footnote reads: "Hagerty does not monitor your specific vehicle’s value. Recommended value(s) are provided from Hagerty Valuation Tools. You are solely responsible for requesting any future increase or decrease in your vehicle’s Guaranteed Value® coverage, which is displayed on your policy declarations page." I went ahead and did it, and incurred a few more dollars a year in my premium.

Can confirm the same email received North of the border. Once I do the conversion from CAD to USD, the values/changes you’ve indicated are pretty much the same being proposed by Hagerty up here.
