!969 2L Smog pump Air Gallery Pipe removal

My Air Gallery pipe Flanges are missing on 2 Connection of 4. To replace the Gallery the cost is $100.00. I know you can not just plug the 4 outlets because they will whistle. I heard you can place inserts like a metal dowel in the orifice and plug it. Does anyone know the "Correct Dimension" of these inserts and what type of metal needed … Aluminum/ 316 Stainless steel?

Hi Bob, you may want to go to our vendor page and check their sites for kits. Also, if you are "desmogging" the car, there are specific things that need to be done in order for this to be done correctly and involves a different ignition curve kit for the dizzy. Feel free to post questions!

Again thank you, I receved and installed these plugs from Datsun part they are Great. My 2 Liter sound Great. On the ignition, I installed an electronic distributor with correct coil and timing per their recommendation, when I did my restoration. My roadster runs and sound great now!
