Pulling 4 Speed Input Shaft from case help

This is my first 4 speed rebuild, I have done a number of 5 speeds but this one is much different.

Anyway, need advice on pulling input shaft/input shaft bearing from the front case (bell housing). Circlip and washer are off.

Should I just heat it up and pull the shaft by hand? Maybe Put a steel bar across the bell housing and use a bearing separator on the input shaft splines with a two prong puller... it will be a little off center but might work?

Nothing to grab onto with a puller,,,

Any advice is appreciated

Was a long time ago, but don’t remember having to heat it before, just persistent wiggling by hand was enough to break it loose as I recall (I did have it strapped to a pallet for added stability).

Ok, after trying to pull the input shaft out the front the way the roadster book says, I actually followed the factory manual and drove it out from the rear after the main shaft was removed. Wasted a few hours trying to put it out…doh!
