1.6L flywheel bolts

Post by Habitat.pat »

I was all set up with flywheel to crank bolts for my stroker using a 2L crank until the crank was damaged. I now have a H20 crank to use but the bolts are different, matching the 1.6L bolts. I’d like to install new bolts but don’t find any from our vendors & there are no markings on them for hardness. Anyone know where I can get some or at least what I need to find? Haven’t checked the dealer yet but will tomorrow.

Peace,
Pat

Not sure where to source them, but here are the bolt factory specs based on engine production number for the R16:

Soupy, I have 2 sets on hand but I was hoping to replace them with new. Thanks for the offer though.

Pat: Grade 8 bolts should work just fine. Used them on jeeps/trucks in the past without issue.

JT has ARP bolts for the flywheel to crankshaft. I ordered them, along with the 10 lb. flywheel / 225mm clutch for my stroker...
