I thought everyone knew that! Good to share it though, some folks don’t know.

I worked in a shop on the late 60s & the mechanic had a large bottle of aspirin in the top of his toolbox just for that use. One day he spotted one of the younger wrenches getting some aspirin for his headache & pointed out that they were at least 10 years out of date.

Good tip, thanks. But if you have a belching problem, shouldn't you use an antacid?

So, the article says to use a white aspirin, and obviously they used a orange ibuprofen . Should we trust anything from Dorman? Sheesh!

Makes you wonder - If they used a blue pill, would it make the coolant last longer & raise your compression?

That's not the problem with many newer cars
The heater core , or pipes is slightly higher than the fill opening

I did the "drill a tiny hole" trick" in thermostat years ago, I think it was like 1/8".....there are more than a few posts on the Forum about this...I refresh my coolant every 2 years, and have never had issues with filling, or over-heating....FWIW.
