Post by Pjackb »

FYI
This car was stolen in Riverside California
from the few videos posted of the theft looks like someone who knew exactly what they were going after

Did they haul it away on a truck I wonder? I have the 123 distributor which you can shut off. There is no driving it away. I wonder if anyone nearby has video that shows the street?

Think it's time to put the Apple tracker in too.
66 stroker, almost done.
67 basket case, paint coming soon.

Looks like they recovered it.

My steering lock may be old skool, but it works.

Wow, ballsy. I see from your facebook feed it was recovered - any damage - did they run the thief over with it? Save a court trial and tax payer dollars!

Drag them behind the car so they can find out how fast a 2000 is. Oh no, did I say that?

Whew, so relieved to hear that it was recovered. So funny, I was just looking into additional security for the car. I dislike alarms and would like something that just calls my phone, didn't find anything I liked so far. I have a stealth means of interrupting the ignition and EFI already. The other day I "re-realized" 67 2000's are among the more rare production collector cars, especially compared to most American muscle cars or other imports. How many are left, 300? My car is a poor example of a "true" 67 2000, but it's got a lot of specialized parts on it, not to mention just how irreplaceable it is to me, and I would be crushed if I lost it. I'm sure many here feel the same way.

I asked the question on Facebook, but didn't see a reply. Was this now recovered car a true 1967 / 2000 or a clone?
