Quick question about front brake line fitting

Post by srfjay »

So I am installing stainless brake lines. And in the front it screws into a adapter block. But it is not flared. So are people using Teflon or copper washer? Thanks for the help guys.

carpartsmanual.com servers are down, so I can't confirm, but I believe it is a copper crush washer.

I looked at the manual and did not see a diagram of that specific part. Only for the actual caliper.
I figured it should be a crush washer. But when removing the old lines it had nothing there. So just double checking.

I used copper crush washers on mine.

If it is flat face to the flat face of the block, yes, it needs a crush washer.
