Makes me sad to hear of Linda's passing.
Although we never met in person, our messaging sessions were always interesting and humorous.
See will be missed.

Rest in Peace Linda...

A few more pictures of Linda.
I enjoyed may years of bantering and repartee with Linda on 311s.
And I can confirm that I NEVER got the last word!
She especially disliked the last picture after I said it showed her "best side"

Thank you Linda, I miss you.

Last I talked to her we had an extensive conversation in PMs about dust caps for our wheels, of all things. She certainly was passionate about her roadster. She will be missed!

Very Sad to hear this. I met Linda only briefly at Solvang one year, but it was enough to put a face to the hundreds of insightful posts she offered up on here. We are a fortunate community to have so many good people amongst us. We are our own little dysfunctional family... but family nonetheless. Safe Travels Linda.

My heart is breaking as I read through the posts on Linda’s passing. Brings tears to my eyes recalling the phone calls and texts we exchanged. I worked with her closely on the ball joint project, providing the SAE specification on ball joints and other technical documentation to assist in the project. She got a lot of flak for doing a thankless job, but nevertheless delivered something that benefits all Roadster enthusiasts. I will miss her greatly.
I don’t know where she is right now, but if heaven is a place worth going to, she will be cruising in a pristine 2000 roadster with the top down and a huge grin on her face.
And God in the passenger seat.
Also smiling.

So sorry to hear, condolences to her other family, this family will miss her. Always an asset and contributor to this community, likely to her professional health-care community as well. Remembering her passion and perspective especially during the last year where health became divisive, she took some heat here. Surely a long haul at her workplace no matter one's position. Selfishly perhaps, I always felt we sort of had our own McCluggage/Guthrie/Muldowney. I never met her in-person, but consider myself fortunate to follow her insight on these pages. God Speed Linda.

Very sad news for the roadster family indeed. Being both from the Los Angeles area, memories of meeting Linda date back to the 2nd and 5th (or 6th) annual JCCS meets, when held at the Queen Mary park in Long Beach. And, later at Solvang on several occasions. A consummate and passionate roadster owner/contributor she was. Her drive (no pun intended), and efforts to make much needed SPL/SRL ball joints keeps my car pointing safely down the road.
RIP Linda, you already missed from the family.
Dave.

Don't live on this forum like I once did, and just saw and read this thread. Plenty of good, kind words, and the pictures are priceless to put a face on an "internet friend." All I can say is that this sucks big time.

R.I.P. Linda

I’ll think of her each time I drive my 67.5, her ball joints are installed on it.

Peace,
Pat
