Hello, I just picked up a '67.5 SPL311 for my next project dream car. I've always loved these cars and had the opportunity to get one that was close enough to go and pick up. I just finished a '84 Pininfarina Spider restomod on a full '04 Miata chassis, engine, trans, diff, subframes, PPF, and full wiring harness. Her name is Isabella and now she has a distant "relative" to share the garage with. This car will be different though, a full original 100% restoration which will take a much longer period of time. I'll start a restoration/build thread and look forward to picking all your brains for knowledge of this amazing car. Let's get started! Cheers.

You'll have a lot of fun with the build, It will last longer and be less trouble than her sister in the garage (although I do love the sister too).

Apparently, this car had some prior history in California. I would love to know more, so if anyone knows or recognizes this car and can provide additional information that would be great. Thanks.

Did you buy that from Gerald goose in Jacksonville? I am just outside of Jacksonville, and will be heading to the Tampa area on the 24th for work. I currently own 3 67 and 1/2 cars, and have owned a few more. I'm happy to help with whatever you need.

Yes, that's who I bought the car from. I appreciate the offer for help, I'll keep that in mind. It may be a little while before I can get in deep with the restoration. Thanks.

While I have not seen that car in person, I have spoken with Gerald a few times, and have seen the pictures. Henry Kahn in Kissimmee has a fair number of parts, so he may be able to help us well. Jason rector in Columbia South Carolina can help you sort the Weber's if you decide to put those on.

Yes, I plan on using the Webers, I'll keep this as a reference.

I highly recommend adding a wideband O2 sensor set up for tuning them... makes all the difference in the world!
Welcome, I look forward to your build!
