cleaning up windshield washer tank

Are there any particular tricks or products that work well for whitening old yellowed windshield washer tanks? tried just regular bleach without much success

I've never tried it, but I've heard Sulfamic Acid is the stuff to use to whiten old and yellowed plastic washer tanks and overflow reservoirs....it's been on my things to try / do list for a long time.....checkout YouTube videos about this....
