Got caught in the rain today. Turned the wipers on and they went l a bit faster than their usual low speed. After a bit it made me curious so I switched to high speed and the wipers turned off. Back to low-speed and they work but at a slightly higher pace than the usual other times I’ve got caught in the rain. Any quick ideas?

Someone smarter than me will chime in, but there is a resistor that must be in good order to attain to two speeds. Curtis should be able to sort it out for you.

The two speeds are achieved by applying power to two different connections to the wiper motor.

If the speeds are faulty it may be that there are dirty connections or worn out brushes in the wiper motor.
