Good afternoon all,
My wife and I just purchased a partially restored 1967 from Classic Auto Mall up in PA. So far we've uncovered a few issues that will need addressing, starting with replacing the faulty horn/steering wheel and tracking down why the right hand turn signal doesn't function. Fortunately the engine was rebuilt in 2020 and the car seems very solid otherwise. She won't be a garage queen (fair lady?) and we plan to do a lot of driving, with plenty of minor quality of life upgrades planned for the future.

Here's one of our pups approving of the new ride (don't know if google photos plays nice with forum image embed)

Here's the unfortunate conditions on the drive home

Thanks!

Your good looking pup, lMHO, looks non-committal, yet somewhat optimistic...your weather picture reminds me of when I had to haul my 10,000 lb boat out of the water for winter storage. Except, in my case I was in a freezing rain / sleet storm, going up a ramp, with a burning-out clutch, and no windshield wiper on the driver side, and no heater,...for 30 miles,....My "buddies" truck.... I bought my own truck the very next year....

Pretty Dog (car isn't so bad either LOL!) Your pup is an American/Eng. Coonhound?

Beautiful dog! And, yes, beautiful car.

German Shorthair Pointer, I believe?

I hunt with one of my buddy's GSPs, Lily. If so, I'm surprised to see your seat covers still intact and uneaten. Those dogs are awesome, loveable, smart, but don't have an 'OFF' switch - at least that's how Lily rolls.

Sorry for the conditions, but welcome!
Peter

That's Julep, she can be a live wire but also can chill out when we need her to. Yes on German Shorthair.

I'm looking forward to many miles and new roadster friends so thank you for chiming in!

Welcome to the unofficial DMV 311 sub-group! Me and RustyBucket (Cam), and Paul live in the MD / DC area. There are more I'm sure, just haven't met them yet. Hope to see you at a local Cars and Coffee or possibly we can coordinate some kind of meet up. Joining the FaceBook Roadster group has been a great value to me as well, may want to check it out :)
