New OEM cap and rotor, NGK RC-NX96 wires. The iridium plugs look new.

Engine needs a degrease. Won’t worry about that until I redo the wiring harness.

Just ordered the 300zx Spriso Motorsports caliper kit from Michael. Collecting parts now.

Happy Saturday!

Fun Stuff, keep us posted!

So, I've been trying to figure out what kitty is saying... looks like, in a slightly deep voice... "Ah... everything is going exactly as I have planned... bowaa haa haa ha haaaaa...! Meow I'm so cutely evil...".

Love cats, some of my best friends.

Starting work on the seats, roll bar, and seatbelts.
Got some seats from the UK via eBay, came with adjusters which was nice. Pretty pricey but I liked the look, about the same price as most new seats.

Looks like they will play well together and look good, though you will have to come up with some slots for a lap belt I think! Some have also opted to anchor a shoulder harness off the roll bar if it's strong enough.

Thank you for the compliments.
I’d say the body and interior is 7/10 of inspected closely. Could use some new areas but the shiny metallic blue catches the eye enough to distract.

I plan on 3 point seat belts and welding bung holes on the roll bar. Is it me or does the roll bar sit high? Will the soft top clear it?

Regarding the roll bar, I can measure mine and let you know what it is... mine clears.

Quick update
1) Finished mocking up the new seats with the roll bar. Receiving the 3pt retractable seat belts tomorrow. Got the weld on bungholes.
2) Found out that this whole time, I’ve only been at 1/4 throttle even when I floored it!!! The modified throttle cable and mounts were not correct. I removed the obstruction, reset the slack and pedal position. Just gained 3X more pedal arch!!!
3) Ordered a ISR AFPR because I think the original FPR is dead. It is really hard starting after sitting a few days, will work with starter fluid, and a few of the lines are hard and maybe letting air in on the return side. Bonus, found out I have a Walbro 255 FP so need to dial that fuel pressure back to stock.

Hopefully soon I’ll upload some pics of a very cool custom project I’m also working on.

Thanks for following!

Had to change directions because the ISR AFPR wasn’t going to be in stock for a few weeks. I got a Tomei one instead. It’s less bling and matches the roadsters color scheme better.
Installed it hoping to diagnose the hard start if left sitting for 7 days. It was calibrated to 43 psi with no vacuum and 37 with vacuum. The gauge is super helpful. Still took some cranking to get it started and a few stabs at the gas pedal but I’m hoping it’s just air in the line. Only way to be sure is to let it set for a week.

Second update:
Thank you Mike Speadbury at Spriso for supplying the 300zx brake upgrade. The instructions and communication was top notch. I had to put my own touch on the calipers so check out the pictures! VHT primer and paint, then cerakote Stormtrooper White.

Hope to install them soon and see how she stops.
