Bright brake light

Post by dads311 »

I bought a set of these just to try them out. They are much brighter than the LED's I had installed.

In the photo it looks more white than red which would be a problem.

It does, doesn’t it.
However, I have seen this before with basic fixed ‘smart settings’ cameras. It’s over exposed and saturates the red band, then all you get is a red halo effect. Pretty sure it’s (very) bright red when you’re looking at it.

If they are red LEDs, they are likely fine. White LEDs, not so much.
