bolt sizes ???

Post by johnscf »

I looked in wiki and saw a great chart about various bolt and screws used in the roadsters but I didn’t see the size for the dash bolts that attach the dash at the front along the windshield and on the underneath at the sides. I carefully labeled and bagged everything as I took everything apart several years ago thinking that had me covered. The only problem is now I can’t find then bag with these bolts!! Can anyone tell me the size(s) or point me in another direction where I can find them?

IIRC they are either 8-32 or 10-32 by 1/2-3/4" long. Standard SAE machine screw sizes. Pat

Thanks Pat really appreciate it. I guess need to be more careful about when I lay things down in a place to make sure I won’t lose them

Tried those but they are too small I’ll go a size bigger

Maybe that info can be added to the knowledge base somewhere... not often needed, but it sure is nice to have when you do eh?

is this for a high windshield dash? It indicates 4 as the quantity and my dash has 6 along the front under the bottom of the windshield.

I found these distributed bolts list is for 66-67 (Low windshield) cars. Working on my '69, many do not equate to my vehicle, but it is a great start for most of the fasteners.

What's a high windshield? I don't do high, there can be only one, LOW.
