Center console disassembly

Post by cbez »

I have an early console, got something stuck behind the ash tray cover so I need to pull that section apart.

For the outer trim, obviously the two screws but then how do you get that off? It seems like it might pull off but I am worried about bending it.

Have you removed the lock bezel? It has to come off.

Not yet it seemed like part of the stamping. I'll take the lock cylinder out and look.

befitting of the stupid question forum, it was indeed the bezel. was camoflauged having me think it was part of the bigger trim piece.
