We had a couple of Datsun Matsuri (meets) at Kelowna BC organized by Datsun Dave here in Edmonton... We met up on Victoria Day Weekend in May when they run the annual Knox Mountain Hillclimb race and invaded the carshow with a bunch of Roadsters... I'd be down for reviving that tradition:

They are all so shiny out West. Around here it seems if you're driving around for more than an hour the car is dusty, stone chipped and the windshield has taken a ding. One day I will get around to doing some body work and fresh paint job.
St Albert is a nice little area for roadster driving. Takes a bit of time to get there with the Spl311 with the 4 speed but worth it.
Maybe its time to get in a 5 speed to make the prairie driving more enjoyable?

Hey Ray-from Winnipeg.
Any other roadsters in Manitoba?

Land of plus 40 to minus 40.

I have a handful here in Calgary, and there are a handful more... the driving season seems to get progressively shorter each year... I have to finish off a handful of projects so that I can enjoy the cars that I have... and I have a couple for sale...

There used to be a few roadsters around Winnipeg a few years back, but I haven't bumped into anyone for quite a while.
The local ones that came up for sale in the past seem to have disappeared.

Cheers

Finally... in my neck of the woods, no snow in the forecast. We had snow here in the past week and Calgary got dumped on big time a few days ago. This winter has hung on wayyyy to long. Ya ya you California fair weather roadsters have no idea what I’m talking about. Today, started the roadster up for the first time in 6 months... ( last drive November 18). As all great Datsun’s.... she started right up, went right to idle . 54 year old technology ! Healthy dose of fuel stabilizer and a good quality optima battery with tender and she fired right up.
I hope everyone else in Canada is started or soon will be started. Great drives ahead. Keep adding to this “eh Canada” thread for parts, meets, fun runs and general Canadiana
