Mechanic 1600 help needed

Guy chased me down yesterday when driving the Roadster, has a 1600 that needs a engine rebuild plus missing a few parts. Trying to guide him in the right direction to get it back on the road. Cars in Riverside Ca. He took it to Skips but was told it needs too much work for him. If anyone knows anybody please let me know. Thanks,

Maybe consider looking for a complete 1600 engine and swap it out.

Did you get him to join the forum? Pictures will help flesh out what is missing.
