Taillight housing question

Can anyone with NOS Taillights tell me if the lights left the factory with a tiny sealing gasket under the screw that retains the outer chrome ring on? Or was it strictly a metal on metal screw/ring seal?
Speaking of the screw itself, I'm down one. The size I believe is Oval head 6-32 x 3/16, probably 1/4" would work. If anyone has an extra one I can purchase so I don't have to buy in bulk for one screw it would be appreciated.
Thanks

Iirc, there were two different sizes of screws used. I don't recall any gaskets there

I have a 1967, I took one of the screws out of one of the taillights to measure it. Like many things maybe the screw size changed on 1968's?

I think so, but I'm not sure. I know that early lamps had a different screw than later. At least the ones that I have. I would assume that it took place in 68. I may have junked all of my crusty taillights. If I come across an early one I'll let you know.

No gasket there, I’ve had a few NOS ones.
