Door key lock repair company?

Post by Habitat.pat »

I have several door key locks for my 67.5 that I need modified. Specifically, I need one re-keyed to match the lock on my other door. I somehow ended up with two locks for the same side of the car that are keyed alike, so the easiest way to do what I need is to take the leaves out of one of those locks & put them in another lock that fits the other door. The main problem is removing & replacing the stainless cover that is crimped on the outside of the lock, sort of like the way the rings on our speedometers & tachs are crimped.

Does anyone know of a shop or individual who is capable of doing this?

Thanks in advance.

Peace,
Pat
