I was the best man at a wedding on a cruise over the past week. The groom got me a very thoughtful gift. He found a 1/43 scale model of the 1967 Fairlady Roadster 1600 still in the box, unopened and ordered it from Japan. I could not find a post on this forum for this particular product, so I thought I'd mention it here. This is a link to one just like it.

Almost everything on the box is written in Japanese, so I have no idea what it says. Inside is a fold-out brochure with a ghosted view of the car and a detailed write up (in Japanese). In that view I can see the image has only 1 SU carburetor and the headlight shrouds are much smaller than on my 68. I am not sure if the ghosted view is of an earlier model or if there were some differences in the Japanese cars.
Anyway, I cannot think of a more appropriate gift as I am learning more and more about the roadsters in my journey!
I can post pictures of it if anyone is interested, but the plastic part of the packaging is quite yellowed and I am not sure I want to open it yet. It looks like this item was released in 2007 by Hachette Collections Japan, Vol 32. Also on the box it say's "Miniature NoRev Collection", and www.jpcars.jp.
