Um, ya. Reminds me of folks who drain their oil and see how long the engine will run... except that car there was driving right next to someone, at speed. I'm not worried about my driving, it's the other guys I watch out for!

I saw one nearly thru like this in my career
Had one solid rotor, like a Roadster, that was 1/8"thick , actually still braked quite well at 35...it wasnt metal to metal
Do you all know about break in grit in the diff especially on heavier domestic vehicles that will destroy it in 60-70 k
I was a service writer for a Volvo dealership once. Had a customer bring in a Volvo that both front rotors were about 2 days from being this bad - had basically foil connecting the fins. The service manager agreed to put on pads and let it go out the door.

Why pay extra for slotted rotors when you can do it yourself?

Colin Chapman who believed light weight was the key to winning races was reported to once say “if it doesn’t break at the finish line you overbuilt itâ€. This one has clearly crossed the line!

At a mitsu dealer a start up dealer at that . Customers would come in needing a rotor about 70-80 $ .I informed them the India rotors at several places were as cheap as 12$ , and they went and bought them , our crook parts mang and serv mang told him those were not quality parts and they only wanted to to the job with genuine mitsu parts , I caught the parts dept giving me the cheap ones and charging for factory rotors ....because no factory were in town ,. Nothing wrong with the econo ones , Ive used them often
