Maybe you are missing something. I don't see any badges on it that say B210? :?

If so, someone purposely put the wrong emblem on it. Nowhere in the world is that car known as a B210, nor was it ever labeled by Nissan a B210. It's a B310 chassis, known only as a 210 here (US) and a Sunny elsewhere.

No, there were B210s, but they were the Sunny chassis before this, 74-78. But for some reason people think that both cars were called B210s, when they most certainly were not.

Sorry, just one of my pet peeves is calling cars by the wrong name... 8)

That's another mistake in the ad. That car for sale is a '79, not a '78.

You will also note that is a factory Nissan ad, and notice what it's called?

What's always been odd to me is why Nissan USA didn't just call it a B310. That's what it is...

IIRC, they weren't even sure if they were Nissan or Datsun around that time and some cars had both badges at once for a few years.

I have a similar pet peeve with Rims and Wheels. Cars have Wheels, Mack trucks have Rims. Oh, that and people with the damn tags hanging off their shoes. Next thing they're going to walk around with the hanger still in the shirt. But then I'm so old school, I'm pre-school.
