I am interested to hear feedback on the side trim quality once some have been received. That is a smoking deal.

Just curious as to how long it took to get the bumpers after purchase. I purchased mine from Miss Nguyen on Jan 17 and was told on the 24th they were being polished and would be sent out right after the lunar new year, the week of Feb 6. They finally made a FedEx label last a week but FedEx has not picked up or been told to pick up. Not sure if I am just anxious to get them or what but I am starting to second guess this purchase.

Her quote to me was "Delivery time 2 days after payment + 3 days for Fedex". Is she short on stock and had to make them? I haven't ordered yet, still have a lot of other stuff to do before I can drop the change. Although, my original bumpers are pretty dull, I'm thinking I might do something else with them until I can spend the $$. Maybe paint them, ugh.

Not to worry.
I have experienced the same delays in my dealing with Bumper Automobile over the last 6 months.
They have been hit hard with Covid and have had shutdowns.
The delay with FedEx has been from customs clearance problems, so I have been told.
The most recent shipment was delivered 3 days after it left Vietnam.

Thanks for that Ted. I just wish she would say they are having problems or what ever and not telling me they are being polished over and over.

Got my bumpers today, WOW... beautiful. They seemed to be slow at manufacturing but I think the wait was worth it. They left Viet Nam on Friday and were delivered this morning, after having spent 48 hours in Anchorage, just as I was headed out to a meeting. I will work on getting them on the car ASAP, can't wait. Will post some before and after pics when I'm done. Only question I have is they sent some black plastic trim; anyone know where that goes? I suspect I know, just want to be sure.

Mine came with some black trim that I will call vinyl. It is like a weather strip that goes over the edge of the over-riders where they come against the bumper. It works well.

The black trim is common on MGs. Datsun didn't use it. It is a nice touch though.

It is a nice touch and I like it. As an FYI, I'm not sure what they paint on the inside of these, but it will definitely require a tap to clean out the mounting and over rider threads. Over rider threads are mm8 x 1.25 pitch which weren't included, the ones for mounting the bumpers are.
