Is there a difference between the left and right steering spindles? If there is, how do I tell them apart.

Parts manual shows different part numbers for each side. I don’t know what the difference is.

** Disregard my last - Just read the other posts and then realized I’m talking control arm spindles, not steering spindle … age😒

I see a difference between them, but I don’t know if it makes any difference. With the spindle standing up look @ the top hole that holds the backing plate on. It’s offset one way on one spindle & the other way on the other spindle. It all depends on whether the backing plate clears the caliper or not.

Peace,
Pat

Yes, L&R are different. It's the steering control arm bolt positions that are opposite side-to-side.
