On the road to the Route 66 JDM Classic Car Show in Williams AZ
An 8 day scenic route drive in the 69 S2000 conversion roadster.

Day 1. Friday Sept 24. Bellevue WA to Biggs OR. 379 miles.
A drive on my favorite roads in the Horse Heaven Hills,
to east of Goldendale, on the north side of the Columbia River.
Over 200 miles of excellent back roads.

Day 2. Saturday Sept 25. Biggs OR to Baker City OR. 294 miles.
Close to a perfect Roadster drive day.
(except for too many bugs on the grille )
Sunny, Clear, Calm, Not hot, Empty beautiful secondary roads, no freeways.
The back roads in upper central Oregon are wonderful.

Day 3. Sunday 9-26-21. Baker City OR. to Buhl ID. 368 miles.
Another beautiful sunny warm day.
From Baker City NE to the Snake River, Hells Canyon, at Oxbow.
Side roads east along the Snake River south of Boise and I84.

Day 4. Monday 9-27-21. Buhl UT to Ely NV. 272 miles.
Weather still holding with another beautiful warm sunny day.
Down Hwy 93, the Great Basin Hwy.

Day 5. Tuesday. 9-28-21. Ely NV to Panguitch UT. 299 miles.
Some morning haze obscured the far views but the sky cleared in the afternoon.
Visited the Great Basin NP and drove to the Mt Wheeler basin at around 10,000 ft.
Drove East from Cedar City to the Cedar Breaks NM. at over 10,000'. Light was nice for afternoon photos.

Day 6. Wednesday. 9-29-21. Panguitch Ut to Bryce Canyon NP to Panguitch. 90 miles.
Bryce Canyon NP tour today. Cloudy cold am but sunny by afternoon.
Park was pleasantly accessible. Not too crowded and plenty of parking at the vista points.
Dozens of the usual Datsun memory stories from guys at the view points.
A bit of rain last night but weather looks back to being excellent for the rest of the trip.
But supposed to be 23F!! on Thursday morning.
