Door to A pillar seal, the little metal strip goes lip up (away from A pillar) or down (towards A pillar)?

for what it's worth, i went with exhibit B. lip facing away from the A-pillar with the theory that it would help retain the profile of the curved rubber. we'll see what happens when the doors are installed.
