First thing I’d check is the harness connector above the starter. Worse place for a high power connector, water/dirt & heat.
Peace,
Pat

Agreed. Bad engine ground or loose/corroded connection at the battery terminals or starter.

Start first with the battery cables. Do both cables have a good electrical connection to the terminals of the battery? If not, disconnect the battery cables and clean the connectors and the battery terminals with a battery brush.

Two things that will kill all power. The starter harness came unplugged or the ammeter fried or connections to the ammeter came loose. Otherwise you should have headlights and brake lights. If the horn works then it isn't likely the starter harness but check it anyway.
As mentioned the battery terminals too.
