Why I really don’t like commercial plating companies.
Anyone have two non working horns I could scavenge parts from. I think I need to go back to plating myself.

I went to a friend who is known nationally for "rod" restos, to get his opinion on whether to get my bumpers re-chromed or order the Vietnamese polished stainless steel bumpers. He recommended for my situation the polished SS. He said that there would be a strong liklihood of mine coming back from the plater in a non-original shape.
