I used a mount that came from my Volvo 145 - it has a horizontal bar to mount the plate and two little legs that mount to the bumper.

Nice JAF badge Leigh! I just got one for the 71 truck. I was so happy to find it, I was skipping around like a schoolgirl. Nobody I showed it to understood why I was so excited to pay $50.00 for a piece of enamled aluminum.

Yeah, after seeing Leigh's, I want to add one of those geegaws once I'm running reliably. It ain't as much fun, but Function gotta take precedence over Pretty.

JAF = Japanese Automobile Federation. I believe it's kinda like our AAA.

OHH, that makes sense.... sorta, is there a specific reason it would cost $50?

Thanks Vic! I was just as happy to find another JAF badge that was all beat up and the paint was peeling - just the right amount of "patina" for the rat!

Because the enameled badges are Vintage as the went to stickers in the late 70's. Even if you do find one, They're often in poor condition with the enamel chipped or abraded off.
