Seems like it’d be worth it to do some serious investigating and see if it can be fixed. Also, is that a new trim in the second photo?

Yes it belongs to the seller. He's not selling that one. It for his car

There have been a few repros made over the years. Some better than others. I have one on SRL 237. I'd love to get an original. Hey, I'm booking a room in Tampa for work this week!

The Japanese Classics "chopped and swapped" peoject thread here made door panel trim in polished aluminum from a readily available trim sized bar stock. Let me see if I can find the post...
